Vis-à-Vis creates an inclusive physical and digital “space of appearance”
where CSOs, artists, informal groups, and communities meet as equals to
exchange, collaborate, and be seen. Through accessible infrastructure,
public encounters, and socially engaged artistic practices, Vis-à-Vis
lowers barriers to participation, amplifies underrepresented voices,
and connects civic initiatives.
Vis-à-Vis Nicosia
Vis-à-Vis Nicosia brought together three socially engaged art
showcases across afternoon:hybrid:space, Kartzin and Nestopia,
accompanied by exhibition openings, roundtable discussions and
a collective celebration.
