Job Opening:
Production Assistant Internship
Contract: Full-time, 8 months (ANAD subsidised- please see specific requirements below)
Start Date: Spring 2026
Gross Salary: €1,300 per month
VISUAL VOICES is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Production Assistant to support ongoing and upcoming projects. This role is focused on the preparation, installation, and ongoing care of exhibitions, workshops, and public programs, including conferences and community activities. The Production Assistant will work in a hands-on capacity that includes coordination with technicians, assisting with transportation and logistics, as well as desk-based administration tasks.
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation, installation, and maintenance of exhibitions
- Supporting workshops, conferences, and community-based activities
- Carrying out general logistical and light technical tasks as required such as:
- Assist in the collection and quality control of print material
- Provide transportation support between studios, venues, and storage facilities
- Management of technical and audio-visual equipment for the presentation of works of art
- Supporting on-site production needs during events, exhibitions, or installations including coordinating with technicians and external collaborators.
- Assisting with desk-based administrative and organizational tasks
- Supporting the overall smooth running of Visual Voices projects and programs
- Flexibility to work beyond standard office hours in response to production timelines and on-site needs.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and solution-focused
- Sound knowledge of exhibition production
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Interested in socially engaged arts and cultural production
- At an early stage of their professional career
Required & Desirable Skill
This position is subsidised by ANAD. Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:
- Less than 8 months of professional experience after completing a Bachelor’s degree
- Under 30 years of age
- Able to provide official documentation from Social Security Services confirming eligibility
- Permanent residency at the Republic of Cyprus
Required:
- Access to a car and valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in English & Greek
- Experience supporting exhibitions, workshops, or public programs
